Picture 2 Picture Productions is a team of journalists, photographers, researchers, and producers committed to illuminating pressing issues through documentary storytelling.
TARA ENG - Producer
Tara strives to pursue curiosities and inspire engagement through written and visual story. She is a former Working Films George F. Stoney Fellow and has produced and directed short documentaries about abusive trust in gymnastics ("The Lucky Ones") and urban sustainability in New York City ("Growing Justice"). Her work has screened in Ithaca, Chicago, and Colorado.
ALEX KLEIN - Producer / Editor
“On The Fenceline” is Alex’s third documentary short he has worked on as an editor. He is currently based in Syracuse, NY. As a recent graduate of Ithaca College’s Park School of Communications, Alex hopes to offer his skills as an innovative content creator in order to share impactful and meaningful work.
KRISTEN HARRISON - Cinematographer / Editor
Kristen is currently an aerial photographer based in Philadelphia, PA whose goal is to offer small moments as a testimony to something bigger. She is the former photo editor with The Ithacan and former photo intern at The Morning Call. Kristen graduated from Ithaca College with the Faculty Award for Excellence in Documentary Studies and Production.
Alisha Tamarchenko - cinematographer / editor
Alisha is a documentary filmmaker based in Washington DC. She has produced and directed 4 other short documentaries projects. She currently works as the Video Production Specialist at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and Renwick Gallery. Alisha holds a BA in Documentary Film and Anthropology from Ithaca College.
Marlee Brooks - LEAD RESEARCHER
Marlee Brooks is a recent graduate from Ithaca College, and an emerging writer, editor, and documentary filmmaker. A resident of Washington DC, she has a passion for educating children through the written word and visual storytelling.
Alfio Vasta - ASSISTANT CAMERA / SOUND RECORDIST
Alfio takes a historiographical approach to documentary filmmaking, looking at the many ways we remember the past. He has produced and directed one documentary, “Echoes of Jubilee,” a profile of the Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers and a history of gospel and black spiritual music. The film premiered at a gospel festival in Myanmar, and will air on WCNY this November.
